Finally we are here at the metro station Maelbeek for the first time after three months. The message board is now covered with glass and the spot of the accident is recovered perfectly. The place that Gilles lost his life is the platform which looks blue, and it was the moment that the train just departed from the station and he was in the second car.

He was standing 4 or 5 meters away from the man but he had his back toward it and his face and body remained quite clean, they say. The inspector imagines that he never had moments fo feel the pain nor think and it was an apparent instant death.

This station is originally imressive with artist's paintings and the name plate of hand writing. Now the scenery is combined with the soldiers with guns, and it feels strange.

Before arriving here I was thinking that I never want to be in the metro in Brussels. But after visiting here and crying, strangely I had found my courage and I took the train to go to the next station Shuman. People would go back to normal life like this.
