著名な風刺画家PLANTU氏が寄せてくれた絵 A drawing given by a famous cartoonist PLANTU

  長年、フランスの新聞Le Mondeで風刺画家をしているPLANTU氏がジルにメッセージを送ってくれました。 「もし描くとしたら、天国と話すってことかな？」

 Mr. PLANTU who works as a cartoonist for the French newspaper "Le Monde" drew a special message for our family. "If to draw, it was like speaking with the heaven?"

　ジルは２０１３年に撮影した、世界各地の風刺画家を巡るドキュメンタリー映画で彼と会っていました。”表現の自由”について考える映画でもあったようです。

 Gilles had met him during the shooting of the documentary film about various cartoonists in the world in 2013. It seems the theme of the film was also about the freedom of the speech.

　右下のほうには、「彼とご家族のことを思っていますとちょっと言いたくて」と。サウンドエンジニアとして働き、小鳥のさえずりを録音しているジルの似顔絵がかわいらしい。

 There is a small direct message to our family, saying 'Just a small message to say I think a lot about him and his family.' The portrait of Gilles who works as a sound engineer recording the singing of the bird is cute :)
